Troubleshooting

  • "No selectable text found in this PDF": The document is likely a scan with no text layer. Run OCR PDF first, then rewrite the result.
  • "Could not read this PDF": The file may be corrupted or password-protected. Try Unlock PDF or Repair PDF first.
  • "Something went wrong. Please try again": The AI service may be briefly busy, or the shared daily AI capacity may have been reached. Wait a moment and retry.
  • The rewrite only covers part of a long document: Text past the 40,000-character mark is truncated before rewriting — split long documents first with Split PDF.
