How PDFly removes pages

PDFly uses the pdf-lib library to copy only the pages you want to keep into a fresh PDF. The original file's content, formatting, fonts, and images are preserved exactly — only the pages you specify are excluded.

This is a lossless operation. The removed pages are simply omitted from the new file, and the remaining pages retain all their original quality and metadata.

Page number formats you can use

Single page: 3 — removes page 3
Range: 5-10 — removes pages 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10
Multiple: 1, 3, 5-7, 12 — removes pages 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 12
All except: To keep only specific pages, remove all others. For example, to keep pages 2-4, remove 1, 5- (page 5 to the end).
